Khvanchkara

A naturally semi-sweet red wine made from the unique Alexandreuli and Mujuretuli grape varieties cultivated in Western Georgia on the steep slopes of the Rioni gorge in the Caucasian mountains. The production of wine takes its origin from the seventies of the XIX century. Light ruby color, the scent of violet, natural sweetness and delicate taste are evidence of the authenticity and high quality of the wine.  This  wine is an excellent partner to roasted and grilled meat, roasted and boiled chicken, and fruit.

At international exhibitions, Khvanchkara received eight Gold medals, five Silver medals, and several Grand Prix:

1907 London (Grand Prix)
2000 Sochi (Grand Prix)
