Khvanchkara
A naturally
semi-sweet red wine made from the unique Alexandreuli and Mujuretuli
grape varieties cultivated in Western Georgia on the steep slopes of the
Rioni gorge in the Caucasian mountains. The production of wine takes its
origin from the seventies of the XIX century. Light ruby color, the scent
of violet, natural sweetness and delicate taste are evidence of the
authenticity and high quality of the wine. This
wine is an excellent partner to roasted and grilled meat, roasted
and boiled chicken, and fruit.
At international exhibitions, Khvanchkara received eight Gold medals, five
Silver medals, and several Grand Prix:
