Is a red grape variety presented in the Samegrelo district  and the Lechkhumi district.  It is used for the production of premium dry, originally semi-sweet and semi-dry wines.

Saperavi

Is a red grape variety unique to Georgia and presented specifically in the Kakheti district.  It is one of the distinguished representatives of the red grape varieties of the world and is cultivated in specific micro zones of the Kakheti district.  It gives particularly splendid flavor to all red wines.  (Saperavi, Mukuzani, Napareuli, Akhasheni and Kindzmarauli).

Is a red grape variety presented in the Kartli district and is used for the production of red and rose wines.

Usaxelauri

Usaxelauri

Is a red grape variety in the Lechkhumi district.  It is mainly found in the villages of Okhureshi, Aubi and Isunderi and is used for the production of originally semi-sweet wine.  Due to the scarcity of these grapes and the limited land available, replanting of new vineyards is almost impossible.  The Usaxelauri is the premier wine grape in Georgia.
